Ham Radio
I hold a General class license. My original call sign was KK4QIH. That seemed like a mouthful for repetitive use. My vanity call sign is K4MVR, creative right? For the technically savvy or technically hopeful, ham radio is an awesome hobby. There is so much you can learn. You can build, or not. You can experiment, or not. You can mentor, teach, volunteer, serve your community, or not. The sky is the limit and it is easy to get carried away with this hobby. If you meet a Gordon Gibby, attempt to hang on but in any case have fun!!!
